Emergency crews were called to a house in the 5100 block of Brook Road in Kunkletown, Polk Township just before 11:30 p.m., according to Emergency Management.
As EMS requested medical helicopters the first juvenile victims were pulled from the home, authorities say.
Before midnight five people were found and EMS cancelled the helicopter request that they "do not think that (they) have any viable patients," as heard on the emergency services radio scanners.
Shortly afterwards the Monroe County coroner was called to the scene, multiple media outlets report.
Three dogs were rescued, officials say.
The relationship between them and the cause and manner of death of any of the victims was not released.
The fire remains under investigation by the fire marshal.
